Suggestion for the Server

Since i have a 4gig dedi, i'm willing to support you guys the dedi, i have updated and edited the source, and i'm gonna put the server online, if you guys are willing to letme host the server, please post here.

-_- Its basicially a good computer which can run the server. I remember when Alex hosted it , *coughs* lag.

You should post the specs apart from Ram as well.

ok just a question but what are the requirements(specs) to run a server like tristory?

It really depends on how much people on average you have

On a 4gb ram , intel core high quality computer + windows 7 = 85 people with lag , average should be around 75 people

o cuz i have a 4gb ram, dual core 3 ghz, windows xp but going to upgrade to 7
well just asking but i cant use it yet cuz my parents confiscate it =[ stupid school

Looks pretty good . The decidated server is alright to me and Yes it is definetly better than Alex's.

Yeah the problem with Vista is those stupid allow/continue things, That's the thing I hate about it but Windows 7 doesn't have that problem now.

i had that problem b4 but i just disabled that option =P

XP for dedi is stable rather than windows 7 or vista, it will be damn fu**ing laggy.

xp is much better than vista >_> but better than windows 7 idk >_>

hum vista is bad cuz i read an acticle saying that vista does not accelerate but slows down ur computer and 7 has remediate the problem. o and 7 is like xp but more like ""recent""

xp = good

windows 7= its good , its heaps better than vista. I've been able to connect to my friend's server files using teamviewer, and he's running from Windows 7.
