A Few Updates/Notices (GM position, forums, etc)

Announcement #1:
The original post about people asking for GM position is here.


Although it says "in-game", let's say it's also for people asking directly IN THE FORUMS. I went through the chatbox archives and found that a few members (maybe only 2?) were asking for a GM position towards game admins (Hello123 & [GM]Ichigo). I know that they won't TRY to abuse their position. If anyone is ever going to be promoted to a GM, they are going to have to submit a application through our GM apps. GM applications are currently CLOSED, so there should be NO NEW GMs until everything is settled (if you know what I mean since the server is currently offline).


If Alex promotes you, I have NOTHING to say. But if you only tried to get on his GOOD SIDE, then I will have a problem with YOU. Most members that have been here long knows that Alex is too nice and can just promote about anyone ._.

The reason why I'm writing about this is to tell new members something. Just because you got recommended here by a friend and COINCIDENTALLY, that friend is a admin/gm, doesn't mean you'll be able to become someone with a high rank. Most of the members here have been with this server for quite some time and that's how they got their rank. If you only joined to become a GM, I think you should have a better goal or perspective in this server.

So if you are going to ask again for GM position whether in game or in the forums (and I hope the in-game admins/GMs will cooperate with me and tell me if it happens or do the appropriate action yourself if it happens), your account will be deleted and you will be on MY (YES, MY) blacklist. Basically, you will be kept on close watch.

If you have a thing against me for posting this even when I'm not PLAYING IN THE GAME just yet, then please, write your opinions about me freely.


Announcement #2:
If I have set the the modifications correctly, no one should be able to create a post in this forum and Tristory Downloads except administrators. Feel free to test it out. Any useless posts in the wrong section will be deleted if you're stupid enough to do so. I take my job seriously as Ariel had once stated. I will change your warning status if you're warned. I do not play with the warning statuses. Even if you are a game admin (Hello123 and [GM]Ichigo I think are the game admins. Including Alex/Trireaper and Secret/Dan but those two basically don't even break any rules so...), I will delete your account if I have to and you would have to start all over. Not that you care but ... you may be excluded from any Tristory updates (removed from emailing list). If necessary, there will be a new group to put the rule breakers in.

Announcement #3:
Sooner or later, we're going to send a official message to ALL members in this forum about Tristory if the server becomes stabilized. If enough members come back, we will open the GM apps once more. Other applications are still open such as Coder and Moderator. Please take your time to consider it if you think you can do the job. (Actually, I don't know about the Coder job like if it's opened or not so yeah...).


Announcement #4:
I will start cleaning out threads as soon as I ask Secret (Dan) about it. (He approved of it). It may or may not be deleted. If not deleted, it will be moved to a different section. I will take the time to do that since ... I seem to have a lot of breaks.

Announcement #5:
I have sent a message recently (long time ago) that I will delete inactive accounts since November but I haven't got the time because of high school finals and tests. I will try to do that during the summer or the next time I have a break. I will send a message to all inactive members about this when I'm on the verge of deleting the accounts. If Dan approves that is.

If you have any problems about this announcement, complain/talk about it here. You are allowed to make a new topic about your complaint/chat about these announcements separately but please don't make a topic on the same announcement. You do not have to even make a topic if you have nothing to say.
